2 Speed Gearbox with 370 Motor

I had ordered aftermarket metal trans because I was worried plastic gears wouldn't last, some lasted a few months, some died immediately. I purchased and built a B-14km kit for my bud's 5 year old nephew for Christmas and found out it came with the two speed trans. He has been bombing around with it with a large NIMH battery from his dad's Tamiya. I visited him late spring and he showed me he has been doing reverse boosted wheelies the whole time with it. Plastic gears have held up so well. I now have WPL 2 speeds in 2 B-16's, C-14, C24 and in one B-36. I have a spare one I am even going to experiment with a brush less motor with. I am confident it will hold up.

Highly recommend! Awesome gearbox for any 1/16th scale R/C! The only reason I gave 4 stars is I have had several of these now and have had issues with stripped gears in two that were purchased from 3rd party vendors but WPL sent free replacement for one (the other wasn't genuine WPL), AWESOME customer service!!! Thanks Edward
