1. Product Quality & Expectations

WPL products have always been designed with one purpose:
to give RC hobbyists an affordable “blank canvas” that empowers endless creativity.
Tinkering, upgrading, modifying, opening the gearbox — this is normal in the WPL ecosystem.

Please understand the nature of our products:

  • WPL models are extremely budget-friendly, and therefore limited by the price point in terms of materials, labour skill level, and production technology.

  • Every unit is hand-assembled and QC-checked by humans, not machines.
    Minor imperfections or missing parts can happen — this is the trade-off that allows WPL to remain the most affordable realistic RC brand in the world.

But here’s the key:
We do not run away from issues.

If your product arrives with any defect, missing part, or functional problem,
simply email us, and we will send replacement parts immediately.

2. Return Policy (Please Read Carefully)

We are not able to offer “Amazon-style, no-questions-asked” returns for one simple reason:
We ship directly from China to the entire world.

Returning items to China comes with several real-world problems:

  1. Return shipping often costs more than the product itself.

  2. Address language differences frequently cause delivery failures.

  3. China Customs frequently blocks or rejects incoming personal parcels.

In the past, when customers insisted on sending items back,
the parcels never arrived.
Customers lost the product and their money, and we received nothing.

Because of this, we cannot operate a traditional return-to-China system.

Instead, our solution is simple:
If there is any issue, we provide immediate technical support including free replacement parts.


3. Cases Where Refunds or Returns Are NOT Possible

To ensure fairness and avoid past abuses, refunds or returns cannot be granted under the following circumstances:

1. Buyer’s Remorse

Change of mind, no longer wanting the product, or dissatisfaction unrelated to product quality.
This is not possible due to the shipping and customs limitations described above.

2. Wrong Address Provided at Checkout

If the buyer enters an incorrect or incomplete address, delivery failure is the buyer’s responsibility.
WPL ships exactly to the address provided.

3. Refusal to Pay Import Duty (Where Applicable)

A very small number of countries charge import tax on arrival.
If the buyer refuses to pay these duties, the parcel cannot be delivered and will be returned or destroyed by customs.

Note: All import duties for US and EU shipments are already prepaid by us.

4. Reasons Not Caused by Us

Refunds cannot be granted for situations outside our control.

However:
For legitimate shipping issues such as non-delivery or no tracking updates,
we will refund or reship the order 30 days after the last tracking update.

This ensures enough time for the parcel to move through customs or carrier backlogs while protecting the buyer from permanent loss.


4. Customers We Cannot Serve

Based on past cases, we reserve the right to refuse service to customers who:

  • Expect a large corporate / Amazon-style “no-questions-asked” return policy

  • Demand a refund without returning the product

  • Are unwilling to perform basic RC hobby tasks such as tinkering, replacing parts, or simple DIY fixes

  • Abuse refund/dispute systems

  • Believe that buying a low-cost hobby-grade product grants the same rights or experience as premium global retail platforms

  • Are excessively fussy, nitpicking every minor cosmetic detail
  • Make unreasonable or unrealistic demands
  • Are not aligned with WPL’s DIY, creative, hobbyist spirit

We want to serve real RC hobbyists — people who understand the nature of WPL products and the value they deliver.

This is an RC hobby — it’s supposed to be a happy and enjoyable experience, not a place for stubborn behaviour/refusing to cooperate or abusing consumer rights.

By purchasing from the WPL RC Official Store,
you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & After-Sales Policy.
