WPL Joins as Sponsor of MSM Kids Club
At WPL, we’re always excited to see the RC hobby spark creativity and teamwork in the next generation. That’s why we’re proud to share that WPL has officially become a sponsor of the MSM Kids Club, a community initiative in Chilliwack, Canada, that brings young enthusiasts together to learn, build, and drive RC models.
About the Kids Club
The MSM Kids Club meets monthly and invites children from the local community to explore the world of RC cars and other automotive hobbies. The sessions are completely free for families, with organizers providing the RC vehicles, parts, and tools. Kids don’t just get to drive — they learn safety, hands-on repair, and even how to assemble RC kits from the ground up. Building first means repairing later becomes second nature, a valuable skill for any hobbyist.
WPL’s Support
When MSM approached us earlier this year, we were more than happy to help. WPL provided a selection of our popular models, including the C34KM, C44KM, D64 and D64-1 — plus additional models like the Samurai (Jimny) and the C24 Hilux pickup. These kits will soon be built and customized by the Kids Club members, giving them their first real taste of what makes RC so rewarding.
Overcoming Challenges
Like many community projects, the Kids Club has faced hurdles. A recent venue change led to a dip in attendance, but with upcoming local events and renewed promotion, MSM is determined to bring the energy back stronger than ever. The donated WPL kits are waiting — ready to be built, tested, and even taken home by the kids once attendance bounces back.

Looking Ahead
The Kids Club has exciting plans, including a C24 build-off challenge, where participants will upgrade their trucks on a budget and compare results. Expect to see more videos, builds, and community projects featuring WPL models as the Kids Club continues to grow.
